"Public Service Telecommunicator (PST)"

This position would start out as probationary for the first six (6) months with the opportunity to become a full-time team member after a six-month evaluation. During this probationary period, our team leadership will train you in the specifics of dispatching. You will be afforded the chances to gather knowledge at certification classes that will give you the insight to further your proficiency in making telecommunications a full-time career with all the full-time benefits. Once you finalize your training and pass your probationary six (6) month evaluation, you will be offered the chance to continue as a full-time employee with full benefits, including, but not limited to: overtime, health insurance, holiday pay, paid continuing education in our field and other options at your choosing. This position starts at $15.45 per hour for a 76-hour pay period every two weeks during the first six (6) months (this includes a scheduled eight (8) hours of overtime). Hourly rate increases and benefits to be discussed after passing evaluation. 

Positions will require the ability to type, work with a variety of computer software, answer telephones, converse kindly with the public and perform well under pressure.
